Jason has a background in local government, with experience in regulation and policy. As a St Peter’s alumnus (1999–2005), he has fond memories of his time at the school and of the late Mike Brock, after whom the pool is named.

He is passionate about making swimming accessible to everyone and ensuring that swimmers have the chance to compete—and most importantly, enjoy themselves.

Jason contributes to the sport as a Technical Official with Swimming New Zealand.
